Yes, for a first visit. We look at your hair dry, talk through your pattern and goals, and agree a plan and a time estimate. Color on curls always starts with one.

A cut takes about 90 minutes. A wash-and-go takes about 100, and color on curls takes about three hours. The services page lists every time.

We work with waves, curls and coils. If your hair is straight, we may not be the right fit.

Dry is how we start, because curls spring up as they dry. We wash and finish afterward.

Photos of cuts you like, the products you use now and a note of what has been on your hair. Come with your hair dry and without product if you can.

A deposit holds your time and goes toward your service or your class seat. Cuts, color and classes take one.

Give us 24 hours to move a visit, or 48 hours for a class seat. If you're running late, text us; a late arrival may mean a shorter service.

For color and some smoothing products, following the maker's directions. Tell us when you book if you have reacted to a hair product.

A child may sit with a parent during a visit. A friend is welcome; classes are for ages 16 and older, and each seat is for one person.
