How pricing works
We don't print prices here, because a price depends on your hair and your stylist. This is what sets it, and where you see it.
What decides the price
Length, density and how tightly your hair curls set the time a service takes, and time is most of the price. Technique, the products we use and your stylist's level add to it. A quote comes before any color.

What the consultation covers
A consultation looks at your hair dry, then wet. We go through what has been on it, what you want from it, a plan and a time estimate. Color on curls always starts with one. Whether a consultation is charged, and credited toward your service, shows when you book.
Deposits
A deposit holds your time and goes toward your service or your class seat. Cuts, color and classes take one; trims and add-ons don't. The booking page shows which.
Canceling or running late
We ask for 24 hours' notice to move or cancel a visit, and 48 hours for a class seat. After that, the deposit may not carry over to your next booking.
How levels set the price
Every stylist has a level, shown beside her name on the booking page. A newer stylist's time is priced lower than a senior stylist's, and the owner's is the highest. You see all three before you choose.
Add-ons and changes on the day
A conditioning step, a gloss or extra detangling time is an add-on, and we agree it with you before it starts. If your hair needs more time on the day, we tell you before we go on.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and never expected. Add one on the booking page, at the chair or by card at the desk.
Gift cards and packages
Gift cards come in any amount, for a cut, a class or a wash day. Buy one on the gift card page and it is emailed to you.
The booking page shows the studio's prices for every service, class and stylist before you choose a time.
